About

I’m a freelance editor and colourist based in Hamburg, Germany. 

Having studied media and communication at the University of Hamburg, I work interdisciplinary on commercial and narrative film productions.

From my interest in film studies in university classes I soon started to transfer my academical expertise to learning practical video productions, taking a special interest in post production and image science.

Apart from freelancing since 2019, I started my professional career at Schmidt-Ohm + Partner advertising agency, collaborating and heading commercial productions for various clients.

Today I am fortunate to get to support multiple agencies and production houses as a freelancer and enjoy collaborating internationally with clients and creatives, having recently graded my first feature film in 2024.

Outside of production I get to teach in workshops on video editing and develop custom tools and and plugins for colour grading.
